For those who wonder what these volunteer opportunities entail: The liturgist helps with worship services on Sunday mornings; they are given a “script” from the office on Thursday so they know exactly what to read and report on.

The ushers greet those coming to worship as well making sure the candles are lit before worship, make sure all doors but the sanctuary and Bell Tower doors are locked at the beginning of worship, help take up the offering during worship, pick up bulletins and items left in the pews after worship, and make sure someone locks all of the doors of the church after everyone leaves.
